Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer have just released their new song “Girls talk boys” featured on the “Ghostbusters” reboot soundtrack.
The track, produced by Ricky Reed (Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor), focuses on the way girls talk about boys amongst themselves, with a heavy focus on their thoughts and feelings about the band members.
“It’s got a lot of awesome influences in it” drummer Ashton Irwin said. “It’s a bit of Rollings Stones, a bit of Talking Heads. It feels real cool. It’s a little more funky than what we usually do.”
The clip takes 5SOS through the dangers of fighting ghosts, while clips from the new movie flash in and out of the video.
5SOS are working on releasing their upcoming third studio album and are currently on tour all the way through October.
