Adam Lambert just dropped his latest video for the single “Welcome to the show” featuring Swedish star Laleh.
The dramatic pop ballad talks about individuality and self-acceptance.
“Welcome To The Show is an anthem about facing exactly who you are and owning it. It is intended as a mantra to inspire strength and pride,” the singer said.

“This is the first time I’ve produced my own music video. With the help of my friend and long- time collaborator Lee Cherry, we set out to co-direct something notably honest” Adam added. “I spoke with Laleh and we agreed on the vulnerability we wanted captured on screen. I think the more we as artists share ourselves openly, the more someone out there may feel inspired to do the same. I also felt a strong feeling of empowerment in creating this video independent of the label system. It was time to shoot this one on my own. This video isn’t about selling a song, or product placement, or racking up viral views. This is intended simply as a creative expression”.

Lyrics:

You know I have a veil
All covered up, to myself
It’s always there
Now they wanna know…
How does it feel?
Gonna let it show
I’m happy to entertain and share with you
It’s hard to say how your own thoughts can hurt you

I’m gonna let them stare
They feel like me out there

So welcome to the show
Bring on all the lights
Let it shine on you
We’re together here tonight

Welcome to the show
Welcome to my life
Welcome to the show
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life

I know I have my flaws
I pay the price but I’m grateful
You’re letting me be myself
The good and the bad

I’m gonna let them stare
They feel like me out there

So welcome to the show
Bring on all the lights
Let it shine on you
We’re together here tonight

Welcome to the show
Welcome to my life
Welcome to the show
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life

Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life

I’m gonna let them stare
I’m gonna let you in
I’m gonna let them in
They feel like me out there

So welcome to the show
Bring on all the lights
Let it shine on you
We’re together here tonight

Welcome to the show
Welcome to my life
Welcome to the show
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life
