The first taste of AJ McLean’s upcoming country-influenced solo album was the single “Back porch bottle service”, released few months ago.
Now Backstreet Boy member returns with a sultry new country song “Night visions”.
Written by Brett Tyler, Brent Anderson and Tyler Rich, and produced by Tyler and Brandon Mashburn, the track showcases his raspy and charismatic voice.
“The premise of ‘Night visions’ is all about love, the good and the bad” AJ said. “The feelings that stay even after you’ve broken up and the devastating sadness of knowing that person is still there with you in your mind and heart. It’s the inevitable flashes of the good and bad times that come, along with that sadness and knowing that no matter what, you’d do anything for the person you love”.
The six-minute music video for “Night visions” stars his real-life daughter Ava. The clip was directed by McLean himself, along with longtime friend Rene Elizondo Jr.
