Backstreet Boys have finally unveiled their new album cover.
“DNA” will be the boy band’s tenth studio album, their first since 2013’s “In a world like this”. It features songs written by Lauv (Charli XCX), Andy Grammer, Stuart Crichton (DNCE) and Mike Sabbath (J Balvin).
“We were able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It’s our DNA. We’re really proud of that” explained Kevin Richardson in a statement.
Also the group have shared a new single, “Chances”, ahead of the album’s January 25 release.
The track, co-written by Ryan Tedder and Shawn Mendes, is a ballad that talks about the “two-in-a-million” chance you’ll meet the love of your life in the most precarious, everyday scenario.
Speaking on the track, AJ McLean said: “You could literally miss your train and happen to lock eyes with this person, and just lose yourself in that moment and go to whatever lengths to actually be with that person”.
The music video for “Chances”, filmed in a train station, was directed by Rene Elizondo and McLean.
Backstreet Boys had already released the single “Don’t go breaking my heart” last May.
