It’s been three years since Blink 182 released their album “California” and the long-awaited follow up is finally on the horizon.
The record, called “Nine”, is set to hit shelves and webstores on September 20 and will contain the band’s previously released singles “Happy days”, “Generational divide” and “Blame it on my youth” plus another songs including new one “Darkside”.
“Darkside” is a catchy pop-punk song, produced by Sugarcult frontman Tim Pagnotta, that talks about an unrequited love.
There’s a bit of confusion about the new album but Mark Hoppus explains on Reddit: “NINE. This is our ninth album, as decided by me and Travis. Some count Buddha, some not. Some count The Mark Tom and Travis Show. Some count Greatest Hits. Some count Dogs Eating Dogs. I’m counting Buddha, Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, Enema Of The State, TOYPAJ, Blink 182, Neighborhoods, Califronia, and now NINE. Nine is also the number of universal love. And the number of uranus”.
