Former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello chose B96’s Pepsi SummerBash to debut not one, not two but three brand new tracks for the lucky fans watching her in Chicago this weekend!
She kicked things off with a performance of “OMG”, an anthemic, sassy and a great song to dance to.

Another great song is “Havana”. Rumored to be Cabello’s next single, it was produced by Pharrell Williams & Frank Dukes and deftly combined Latin rhythms with pop hooks.

She ended with “I’ll never be the same”. On it, the 20-year-old songstress performed with an electric guitar and sang in falsetto about love’s intoxicating aftermath.

All three songs will appear on Camila’s forthcoming debut studio album “The hurting, the healing, the loving”, which will come out in September.
She described the album as a “story of my journey from darkness into light, from a time when I was lost to a time when I found myself again. The story behind the album starts with the second song that you’ll hear called “I have question”, which was written in a hotel bathroom on tour a little over a year ago. I was completely broken during that time, I was in the kind of pain that’s uncomfortable to talk about, and it was the kind of chapter you never want to read out loud…. I couldn’t write another song for 6 months because writing meant I had to feel everything, and I wasn’t ready to do that yet,” she continued.
For her album, the singer has reportedly called in the musical talents of producers including Sia (Crying in the club), Ed Sheeran (The boy), Charli XCX (Scar tissue), Cashmere Cat (Crying in the club) and Pharrell Williams (Havana).
Other news see Camila joining Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic World Tour this summer on her first official tour as a solo artist.
