Fans of Cher Lloyd have a reason to celebrate!
The 26-year-old singer, songwriter, and model has just released “M.I.A” as the lead single off her third studio album.
The track, co-written alongside Morgan Avenue, Jeremia Jones, Stevie Appleton and Gia Koka, mixes elements from pop and hip-hop.
It’s an infectious song where Cher talks about wanting to leave the party her friends dragged her out to , and go escape with the guy she’s had her eye on all throughout the party.
“M.I.A” has a fashionable music video directed by Raja Virdi (Sam Smith, John Newman, James Morrison).
“I wanted the video to mirror exactly that. I wanted the vibe to feel playful, expressive and fun. Every look gives a great insight into who I am and my personality” explained the “Want u back” singer.
