Cheryl makes her return to new music with the single “Love made me do it”, her first song in four years.
The pop-dance infused track was co-written by Cheryl herself with Girls Aloud co-star Nicola Roberts, Natasha Bedingfield, George Astasio, Louie Dylan Cooper, Miranda Cooper, Jason Pebworth and Jon Shave.
In “Love made me do it”, the 35 year-old artist sings about love.
“It’s catchy and it’s fun. It’s not about one specific person or relationship, it’s more about me being the lover of love that I am. I just love love!” she said.
The music video, directed by Sophie Muller, features the “Fight for this love” hitmaker doing choreography with a group of dancers.
Cheryl will perform the new single on The X Factor UK on November 18. She also will be at Jingle Bell Ball in December.
In addition to the new release, the singer confirmed her attendance as judge on BBC One’s new show The Greatest Dancer alongside Glee star Matthew Morrison and Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse. The new dance talent show will be broadcast in 2019.
