Singer Christina Aguilera is working with “Beautiful” songwriter Linda Perry again.
The 34-year-old “Hurt” hitmaker, whose last album “Lotus” was released in 2012, assured her fans of coming up with new music soon.
“I’m mainly focused on my music right now and trying to finish that up and proceeding to work and accumulate with different producers and so far it’s going amazing. I’m just making sure I have time to let things simmer and cook in the pot so that the outcome is really the best that it can be,” Aguilera said.
“And I’m reuniting with some old producers that I have always had a long time connection with, including Linda Perry who I did ‘Beautiful’ with. We have such a beautiful chemistry and connection,” she added.
“Beautiful” was a global smash for Aguilera back in 2002, and featured on her second studio album “Stripped”.
That record is the biggest of her career, going on to sell over 13 million copies worldwide.
Linda Perry has also worked with Christina on some of her other singles too, including “Hurt”, “Candyman” and “Keeps gettin’ better”.
Aguilera’s most recent musical output were two songs, titled “The real thing” and “Shotgun”, which she recorded and released for her cameo in hit US TV show Nashville earlier this year.
