Irish/French multi-talented artist Cian Ducrot has just released his new single “Not usually like this”. A powerful emotional song inspired by his own life experiences about a girl he fell in love with at 14 who broke his heart.
Speaking about the track, the 23-year-old explains: “’Not Usually Like This’ was the first time that I really dug into my past and was able to go to a place and write a song about something that I previously wouldn’t have been able to put into words. It was both difficult and easy, but I learned a lot from writing this song”.
Directed by Harry Law, the music video fits the tone of song perfectly.
“Not usually like this” is Cian’s first release after “Started in college (mixtape)” came out last summer.
Born in Ireland and later based himself between London and Los Angeles, the rising star built a huge fanbase thanks his videos on YouTube and TikTok.
