Dami Im’s “Sound of silence” to dominate European charts

Australia’s Dami Im has taken out second place in the 2016 Eurovision song contest in Stockholm, Sweden with her power ballad song “Sound of silence”. But who is Dami Im?

Dami Im is a Korean-Australian singer and songwriter. She won the X Factor in 2013 and the hearts of the Australian public, building a successful career thanks to her remarkable voice.
More success followed as Dami earned a number one album with “Dami Im” and followed it with the hugely successful Top 10 release, “Heart beats” and hits such as “Alive“, “Super love” and “Gladiator“.
“Sound of silence” is written by Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci. The clip features Dami being driven in a black car as a male ballet dancer contorts his body in the shadows before she walks towards the camera.
Actually the song is No.1 in Australia, and top 10 in 12 countries including Sweden, Norway and Belgium.
