British singer, songwriter and model Dua Lipa has just released her new single “Hotter than hell”. The track, written by Dua and the band Ritual and produced by Stephen ‘KOZ’ Kozmeniuk (Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj), follows previous singles “Be the one” and “Last dance.”
The music video, directed by acclaimed director Emil Nava (Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran), was filmed in a London warehouse.
Dark and sexy, the clip shows the 20-year-old singer with a bunch of super attractive party-goers.
“It’s about a really horrible relationship — one that went off the rails” Lipa said of the song in an interview with BBC. “It was really bruising my ego and making me feel like I wasn’t worth it. I was heartbroken, but I started to write about that time and I felt I had a lot to say.”
Dua will perform around Europe at Glastonbury, Wireless and Pukkelpop before playing Lollapalooza at the end of the summer.
