One of the most promising voices in folk-pop, independent Irish singer-songwriter Elmore releases his new track “Greyscale”.
Born and raised in Ireland, Elmore began his musical career at the age of 18 playing shows in local bars and venues.
He also spent months on the streets of Berlin and Amsterdam bringing around his unique and raw sound.
His Youtube page contains videos of original songs and live versions of covers including Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the dark”.
Now, Elmore gives us “Greyscale”, an intimate song written by himself about his life experiences and struggles.
The music video shows the young artist singing-rapping in a room with wall clocks, play of light and balloons.

Lyrics:

Who Am I?
I’ve been trying my best to find myself
Wasting time

Hanging on to every word you said
Colour blind
I can’t tell if it is night or day
In my mind
There’s an area you feel we gray
All my colours fade away
I see greyscale
I see greyscale
It’s all i see
Every colour fades away
I see greyscale
Something’s got a hold of me
All my colours fade away
I see greyscale
I see greyscale
It’s all i see
And every colour fades away
I see greyscale
I see greyscale
Looking back
Oh how times have changed since we spoke last
Black and white i see in low contrast
But these photographs they take me back
To a time
We were young Innocence and free
No one else is just you and me
And there’s darkness surrounding me
It’s all i see
All my colours fade away
I see greyscale
I see greyscale
It’s all i see
Every colour fades away
I see greyscale
Something’s got ahold of me
And every colour fades away
I see greyscale
I see greyscale
It’s all i see
And every colour fades away
I see greyscale
I see greyscale
