Last February, Finland crowned The Rasmus the winner of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2022, the Finnish national selection show to Eurovision 2022.
The track “Jezebel” is a strong rock song co-written by frontman Lauri Ylönen and renowned songwriter-producer Desmond Child (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Kiss).
It marks the debut of new member Emppu Suhonen after the departure of guitarist Pauli Rantasalmi.
“Jezebel” has a music video directed by Jesse Haaja, who has already worked with the band for “Wonderman” video in 2017.
Speaking about the clip, Lauri says “Emppu is the star of the video! We wanted to introduce her to the world big time. After all she is like Jezebel, rebellious and dangerous! I enjoyed being tied up to the bed and tortured. I’ve always pushed myself to the limit at every videoshoot”.
