Surprise, Adam Lambert fans! After two long years, our beloved Adam is back with a new single titled “Feel something”, his first since “Two fux”.
Written by Lambert, Benedict Cork and Josh Cumbee, the track was inspired by the singer’s mental health journey.
“This was written about me climbing out of the low period, defying my disillusionment, owning my needs, and opening my heart. The life of a bachelor can be a laugh, with plenty of flings, but after a while it starts to feel empty” the American Idol runner-up wrote in an Instagram post.
“Feel something” is not, however the lead single from Adam’s fourth album. “I wanted to give a gift to you to kick off this new era before I drop my first official single” he explains. “It’s a preview of the upcoming album and a song from me to you”.
We remind you that the “Ghost town” hitmaker is currently on tour with the rock band Queen and will open the Oscar ceremony next Sunday. “Bohemian rhapsody” , the biopic about the late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury , is nominated for five awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Rami Malek.
