With a brilliant debut single already under her belt, rising singer-songwriter Aja is a new artist to keep an eye on.
Born in Canada, she started singing since she was 6 and writing her own songs at the age of 8.
Inspired by strong female superstars like Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande and Beyonce, Aya is a complete artist playing guitar, piano, violin, trumpet and … acting!
In 2014 she won Perez Hilton’s Can You Sing competition with a cover of Sia’s “Chandelier” showcasing her powerful vocals skills.
Recently she has released second official single “Who’s gonna love you?”. Co-written with Margaret Peake and Wynne Bennett (Janelle Monae, Tyla Parx, Sondre Lerche), the track is an emotional and delicate ballad.
“Who’s gonna love you?” follows the single “Nerve”, released last May.
