Eurovision Song Contest 2017 contestant and former X Factor winner Isaiah Firebrace is back with “Know me better”, his second single of the new decade.
Co-written by David Musumeci & Anthony Egizii also known as DNA, the track is one of Isaiah’s favorite singles to date.
“This song actually means a lot to me because I finally feel like I’m starting to know myself better and I am heading in the direction I want to with my music” he said.
“I’ve been in the studio a lot over the last three years and have experimented with lots of styles but ‘Know Me Better’ is a song that I’m really proud to release. I love the song, I love the production and I just can’t wait to be able to show people this song!!”.
In addition to his musical career, Firebrace is also a writer. In fact he’s penning an illustrated children’s book titled “The purple platypus” which is set for release later this year.
Lyrics:
Here we go here we go
Round in circles
Like I said I got nothing to hide
And tho your words make me feel like I’m worthless
And like I said I got nothing to hide
Don’t listen to friends
Just listen to me
Don’t make any sense
Just Tell me who you believe
Nah nah
You should know me better than this
Think about it
Oh, some things are better left unsaid
You should know me better than this
Think about it
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You should know me better
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You should know me better
Call me up call me up while I’m working
Just to see if I made it on time
Cause I know that inside you’re hurting
Oh, I wish you could trust me sometimes
Don’t listen to friends
Just listen to me
Don’t make anysense
Tell me who you believe
Nah nah
You should know me better than this
Think about it
Oh, some things are better left unsaid
You should know me better than this
Think about it
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You should know me better
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You should know me better
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You should know me better
You shoulda known me
You shoulda known me better than this
Think about it
Oh, some things are better left unsaid
You should know me better than this
Think about it
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You should know me ah
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You should know me better than this
Think about it
Oh, some things can never be unsaid
You shoulda known me better
