James Arthur is gearing up to release “Empty space”, a brand new song from his upcoming third studio album. Written by James himself alongside Pablo Bowman (Alan Walker, Noah Cyrus, Louis Tomlinson), Richard Boardman (Clean Bandit, Rudimental, Robin Schulz) and Nick Gates, the track is poignant and heartfelt. “This song is for anyone who has ever deeply loved and lost someone dear to them, and is then faced with the struggle of trying to fill that void. It is about coming to terms with the fact that only that special person, can truly fill the empty space” said the 30-year old artist. The nostalgic single is not the first taste of music James has released this year. He already teamed up with Marshmello and Juicy J on “You can cry” and in August he shared double summer single “You deserve better”/”At my weakest“. James Arthur’s new album is currently in the works. During the course of 2018, he appeared in the studio with Ryan Tedder and hitmaking songwriters Justin Tranter and Max Martin. A release date has yet to be announced. In the meantime, the X Factor UK 2012 winner will feature on the track listing of “The Greatest Showman — Reimagined” where will sing his version of “Rewrite the stars” with Anne-Marie.
