James Arthur, the 29-year-old pop singer broke out big last year with his second studio album “Back from the edge” and now he’s back with a brand new single “Naked”.
The gospel-tinged track, co-written with Max Martin, Johan Carlsson and Savan Kotecha, was inspired by the late pop icon George Michael.
About his next album, X Factor winner revealed he worked with OneRepublic’s frontman Ryan Tedder.
“Ryan’s an incredible songwriter. We wrote a few songs together, we’d have a glass of red wine. We wrote a song called Drink The Wine. A beer, or a glass of whiskey or a glass of red wine, is my treat after a show. It helped me unwind, so that’s been the treat. It’s such a weird thing after a show; you have this comedown because it’s a climax when you’re on stage”.
James Arthur’s new album is expected to be released next year. It will probably contain “Let’s go home together”, a duet with Ella Henderson.
