English singer, songwriter and TV personality Jessie J has returned with a feel good jam single called “My superstar”.
Written by Alex Geringas (Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis) and Nikki Leonti, the track is taken from Jessie’s upcoming fourth studio album which is scheduled to release later this year. The song is also set to be featured on the soundtrack for “Ice Age: Collision Course”.
“My superstar” is Jessie’s first single since “Pitch Perfect 2” ballad “Flashlight”, which peaked at number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2015. She is apparently working on a new album after taking some time off for “The Voice”. “It’s really time-consuming, and if I’m honest with you, I get to the point where I’m in the chair, and I just want to sing,” the “Price tag” hitmaker said in a recent interview. “I’m ready to write another album”.
