John Newman has a new song out called “Stand by me” and it’s amazing!
Co-written by John alongside BLNK and produced by Steve Mac, the track is a soulful and touching song capable to melt your hearts.
“This song is my most meaningful and emotional piece of work yet” said the 29 year old artist. “It was inspired by my wife Nana, who has stood by me through thick and thin and all the challenges I have faced on my journey. But I want to dedicate this song to the real heroes in the world and the people who make every day so much better for us all. The mothers and fathers that protect their children through thick and thin, the partners that stand by people through anything, the nurses that save lives, the people who make change”.
“Stand by me” is not the first collab for John and BLNK; the “Love me again” hitmaker worked with Swedish collective on last year’s single “Feelings“.
John Newman will perform the new single live for the first time on the BBCs annual Sports Relief Telecast on Friday March 13th.
