In a recent interview, Elton John has confirmed that he is teaming up with frontman Brandon Flowers, with a view to contributing material to the LP.
“I’m hoping to go to Vegas and write with Brandon for the new Killers record” he said.
Elton John is no stranger to collaboration with younger artists, as he’s also worked with Scissor Sisters and Fall Out Boy.
This will mark the second collaboration between The Killers and Elton John: John was featured on the Las Vegas band’s 2008 Christmas single, “Joseph, better you than me”.
No release date has been set for the new Killers record.
