Oh, look, a surprise new single from Lady Gaga. The Born this way singer-songwriter and actress performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last weekend.
During the show, she debuted a brand new song called “The cure”.
The synth-pop track, co-written with Paul Blair, Lukas Nelson, Nick Monson, Mark Nilan Jr. and DJ White Shadow, talks about unconditional love for someone and was inspired by Gaga’s fans.
This is the first new music the singer has released following last year’s album “Joanne”, which it reached number one in the United States, and also topped the charts in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Taiwan and other countries.
No word on if “The Cure” is a stand-alone song or part of a new project.
The 2017 edition of Coachella featured Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, The xx, Empire of the Sun, Martin Garrix, Lorde, Justice, New Order and others.
In addition to the festival’s partecipation, Lady Gaga also is quite busy in other projects. In fact, she is preparing her debut movie “A star is born”, co-starring and directed by Bradley Cooper.
