As part of a new campaign for designer Tom Ford, Lady Gaga covers the Chic classic “I want your love”.
The fashion film was directed by Nick Knight, who has previously collaborated with Gaga on visuals for her Monster Ball Tour.
“Instead of having a traditional show this season, I wanted to think about how to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online” Ford explained of the video on his official website.
“I asked Nile Rodgers to collaborate on a new version of one of his great hits from that time, “I want your love”, and worked with Gaga to record the vocals.
It explains why Rodgers and Gaga were in the studio together earlier this year, but let’s hope they’ve also cooked up some more disco magic for Gaga’s forthcoming new album.
The record – which will be the fifth of her career – is currently being worked on, and was recently described by Gaga’s close friend Elton John as fabolous.
