Kylie Minogue and James Corden could be in for a Christmas hit with their duet of “Only you”.
The unlikely collaboration apparently started off as a joke between the two as Kylie put together her Christmas album, but the track turned out so well that it became the lead single.
The duo have covered “Only you”, the 1980s ballad by Depeche Mode’s Vince Clarke.

The new album, titled “Kylie Christmas”, also features Iggy Pop – as well as a posthumous appearance from Frank Sinatra.
Sister Dannii Minogue joined her for a special duet to be featured on the deluxe version, their first musical collaboration since 2008.
The new single is not James and Kylie’s only time performing together: in 2009, they opened the Brit Awards, with Kylie singing “Can’t get you out of my head” while James danced in red satin and knee-high leather boots.
“Kylie Christmas” is out on November 13.
