1. Euphoria
One of the most successful Eurovision song, “Euphoria” was co-written and produced by Peter Boström who worked with Alcazar and Eric Saade.
It reached number one in half the countries in Europe including Germany, Finland, Poland and Belgium. In UK the track peaked at number three becoming the highest chart position for a non-UK Eurovision entry since Johnny Logan’s “Hold me now” in 1987.
2. My heart is refusing me
With this song, Loreen participated in Melodifestivalen 2011, the Swedish selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2011, but she did not make it to the final.
After winning with “Euphoria” in 2012, the track was re-released as second international single from debut album “Heal”.
3. We got the power
Released in 2013, Loreen performed the song for the first time live during the final of the Eurovision Song Contest of the same year.
“We got the power” has a music video directed by Loreen herself. About this experience, the multi-talented artist said: “I always have a clear picture of what I want to convey in my artistry and feel a great responsibility for the things I release. Moving images, for me, creates an extra dimension to the music. In addition, we need more female directors in the industry. More women who dare to take place, just like the video for ‘We got the power’ is doing”.
4. Statements
In 2017 Loreen tried for Eurovision again by competing in Melodifestivalen with “Statements”. The song is a haunting mix of pop and alternative beats, very much loved by the fans.
5. Crying out your name
Written by Moh Denebi, Ana Diaz, Nick Jarl, Gino Yonan, Svante Halldin and Jakob Hazell, the song is the fourth single from Loreen’s debut studio album “Heal”. It peaked at number 19 on the Swedish singles chart.
