L.A based artist Maggie Lindemann is a talented pop singer-songwriter who possesses plenty of promise.
She made her debut onto the music scene in 2015 with her independent debut single “Knocking on your heart”. It crashed into the Top 20 of iTunes Top Alternative Songs chart, while its follow-up “Couple of kids” went Top 30.
This was followed by another successful top 25 hit “Things” and later “Pretty girl”, her first single since signing to 300 Entertainment, the same label that includes Migos, Cheat Codes and Fetty Wap.
Recently Maggie unveiled a music video for her latest single “Obsessed”.
Co-written by Ivy Adara, Sean C Meier and Jonas Jeberg, the track follows a “Pretty girl” Cheat Codes remix and a collaboration with The Vamps on “Personal”.
Here is what Lindemann had to say regarding “Obsessed”: “It’s about being with someone who only really cares about themselves. Being with someone physically, but not being able to be with them mentally or emotionally… it’s more of a play on words and a cheeky song because in the end I sing ‘I’m obsessed with myself too.’”
The music video, shot in an ornate Victorian house in Brooklyn, was directed by Allie Avital, who has previously worked with Rachel Platten, The Knocks and Bridget Mendler.
