Electronic music group Major Lazer is currently preparing their fourth studio album “Music is the weapon” for its release this month, led along by previously released smash hit single “Cold water“.
Now the album has offered up a new taste with Major Lazer dropping the Showtek featuring single “Believer” to further whet appetites for “Music is the weapon” to arrive.
The track, which samples “Good swimma” by Caribbean band Freetown Collective, touches on a number of different genres, ranging from dancehall to trap and hardstyle.
Directed by Christopher Louie, the music video follows a young boy in the war-torn Middle East fleeing from monsters, cut in amongst happier footage of his day-to-day life.
