Melanie C has just released a deluxe edition of her latest album “Version of me”. The reissue includes 2 new tracks: “Hold on” and “One minute” plus special live versions of Mel’s previous singles.
“Hold on” is a beautiful ballad which features vocals from UK singer/songwriter Alex Francis.
About the collaboration, Alex, who is the brother of singer songwriter James Bay, said: “I know a couple of people who have worked with Melanie C before. She was working on this new duet track and they were looking for the right voice to match. I went along and I guess my voice just fit with the sound they are looking for. She is a really lovely lady”.
Melanie C is set to feature at this Isle Of Wight Festival, this coming June. Also she will appear at Kew The Music in July, supporting All Saints, and Manchester Pride’s The Big Weekend in August.
