1. Angel of mine

Released in 1998, this cover of Eternal’s top five song became Monica’s third consecutive release to reach number one on the US singles chart.
The music video was directed by Diane Martel (Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys) and features Tyrese as the singer’s love interest.

2. Why I love you so much

“Why I love you so much” is a beautiful and touching R&B ballad taken from Monica’s debut studio album “Miss Thang”. It talks about her father M.C. “Billy” Arnold Jr., who died in 2014.

3. So gone

Written and produced by Missy Elliott, the acclaimed track samples The Whispers’ 1977 song “You are number one”. It was Monica’s biggest commercial success after a dark chapter of her life.

4. For you I will

Recorded for the soundtrack of the live-action/animated movie “Space jam”, the song was included on her platinum album “The boy is mine”. It reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a top five hit in the Netherlands and New Zealand.

5. Love all over me

Taken from Monica’s sixth studio album “Still standing”, the r&b track was written by Crystal Johnson, Bryan-Michael Cox and Jermaine Dupri.
The music video, directed by Chris Robinson, features NBA athlete Shannon Brown. He and Monica got married six months later in real life.
