British rock band Muse are officially back with a brand new single called “Won’t stand down”. The heavy song is the lead single from their untitled ninth studio album, which is due out later this year.
“‘Won’t stand down’ is a song about standing your ground against bullies, whether that be on the playground, at work, or anywhere” frontman Matt Bellamy explained in a statement. “Protecting yourself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and to face adversity with strength, confidence, and aggression”.
Directed by Jared Hogan and shot in Kyiv, Ukraine, the music video features Bellamy sitting in a wheelchair in a older version of himself with a scary face and white hair.
