Mylène Farmer has joined forces with LP for a duet called “N’oublie pas”.
The track, co-written alongside Mike Del Rio & Nate Campany, is an unexpected collaboration. It all began in September 2016 during a concert played by LP at the Café de la Danse in Paris. The legendary French artist was seduced by the “Lost on you” hitmaker’s talent so much that she wanted release a duet.
Mylène then contacted her and the two women met at a hotel in the capital. Mylène sent a text, LP put it to music and parts in English.
“N’oublie pas” has a music video, filmed in Iceland’s mystic and beautiful landscapes. It was directed by Farmer’s longtime collaborator Laurent Boutonnat.
The Canadian-born French artist will release an album soon, probably titled “Disobedience”. The record is her first with Sony Music Entertainment.
