Last month Nick Jonas’ brand new single “Remember I told you” featuring Mike Posner and newcomer Anne-Marie got released. Now it’s the turn of the music video.
The black and white clip was directed by Isaac Rentz, who’s worked with Linkin Park, 5 Seconds of Summer and Blink-182 in the past.
Shot in Los Angeles, it starts with Jonas in a small square room where he dances around alongside models and partygoers. The video later turns to color where the rager rolls on. Nick‘s younger brother Frankie also makes a cameo in the visual.
About the electronic-R&B flavor song, the “Closer” hitmaker said: “The new track was written last year while I was on tour. I text Mike Posner who was the special guest on the tour, I was like, ’Hey man, why don’t you come onto the bus, I’ve got this track going you might be into.’ He came out, listened to it two times, and was like, ’I love it, I’ve got some lyric ideas.’ So he jumped in the booth, and within five hours from the time I started the beat to the time I eventually laid my vocals in with the lyrics that we’d written, it was pretty much done.”
