Pussycat Dolls are officially back! Last November, the beloved girl band reunited during a special comeback tv performance on The X Factor Celebrity.
Nicole, Jessica, Ashley, Kimberly and Carmit performed a snippet of brand new track “React” on that occasion and now we have the music video.
The single, written by Scherzinger along with Georgia Buchanan, Johan Gustafsson, William Simister and Hannah Wilson, is an electro pop song with a powerful dance beat.
About the concept, Nicole said: “I had been working with a really great producer by the name of Will Sims and I really loved this song. I just thought it was really melodic, fresh, and current and new-sounding. I was excited to jump on it and the girls loved it as well. It’s an unexpected song. Coming back, we wanted to just do something that felt really new and fresh and something we’d never done. It’s got that electro-pop feel and a great dance beat, so it’s something we could dance hard to and do our own thing to, in regard to choreography”.
In the clip, we can see the girls wearing latex outfits and dancing in the rain or surrounded by flames.
“React” is The Pussycat Dolls’ first single in over ten years. A new album is in the works.
