It’s time to meet Robin Bengtsson, a Swedish singer who will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine with the song “I can’t go on”.
The soulful track was written by David Kreuger, Hamed “K-One” Pirouzpanah, and Robin Stjernberg.
It is catchy and memorable and sonically similar to some hits by artists like The Weeknd and Justin Timberlake.
Bengtsson gained popularity as a contestant on Swedish Idol 2008, finishing in third place. After Idol 2008, he was signed onto Merion Music record label and released his first single “Another lover’s gone”.
About Eurovision Song Contest, he said: “I watch it since I was a kid so it’s always been a dream of mine. It will also be cool to meet people from all over Europe in one place!”.
