After much teasing on social media, Sam Smith has finally released his new single “How do you sleep?”.
The track, produced by ILYA & Max Martin, is moody with a dance-fueled chorus.
About it, Smith said: “This year, both personally and musically, I feel so free. More than ever I have had so much fun making this record and this video. Time to dance darlings.”
The music video, directed by Grant Singer (The Weeknd, Lorde, Troye Sivan) and choreographed by Parris Goebel, features a slew of shirtless dancers.
“How do you sleep?” serves as the follow-up to “Dancing with a stranger”. The collaboration (with Normani) was a critical and commercial success. It reached top three in UK and top ten in US.
