Sergey Lazarev is a Russian singer, dancer and actor. He has taken out third place in the 2016 Eurovision song contest in Stockholm, Sweden with his song “You are the only one”.
Now Sergey is back with a new single “Breaking away” produced by Dimitris Kontopoulos (Helena Paparizou, Sakis Rouvas), one of the most famous Greek music composers.
The video, shot in Crete, features Greek actress and model Tony Sotiropulu, best known for her role as Bond girl in “Skyfall”.
It sees the pop singer do everything in his power to win back the woman of his dreams. He plays the piano, stares pensively and runs purposefully.
“Breaking away” is taken from Sergey’s greatest-hits collection “Best”, which featured his biggest English-language singles.
