Shannon Noll is an Australian singer-songwriter. He came to fame in 2003 on the first season of “Australian Idol” and was runner-up to Guy Sebastian.
After four studio albums and a compilation album called “No turning back: the story so far”, Shannon is back with the single “Who I am” as the first taste of a new album coming in 2017.
“Who I Am is me saying this is me like it or not, I think in this business people try to make you something you’re not. It’s a joyful song that is all about being yourself and doing the things that make you happy” Shannon said in a press release.
About his upcoming album, he added: “I feel refreshed and ready to go. The last 3 songs I’ve co-written recently are my favourite songs on the album! The new songs are different in the sense they are very current sounding and the message is a celebration of who I am and where I come from, and also the passion I have for the country I live in”.
