We’re counting down the days until the release of Silk Sonic’s debut album “An evening with Silk Sonic”. To satisfy our appetites, the R&B supergroup have just released the video for “Smokin out the window” their latest single.
The track, written by Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars and D’Mile, is the third single from the album. A record, which is intended to provide some feel-good music. About it, Mars said: “A good song can bring people together — you don’t have to actually sing the words ‘Everybody come together.’ Sometimes the hard thing is to actually do it. You don’t have to say, ‘Everybody raise your hands’ — sometimes you just hit the right chord and it happens. So that was our mindset with the whole album”.
Silk Sonic project began in 2017 when Anderson .Paak was part of Bruno’s 24K Magic World Tour.
“Smokin out the window” follows the singles “Leave the door open” and “Skate”.
