Karen Stenz Lundqvist, known by her stage name Stenz, is 23-year-old Danish electro-pop artist.
“I might” is her first offering, a catchy pop track written and produced in collaboration with Joachim Ersgaard (Ea Kaya).
Speaking on the track, Stenz said: “I wrote my debut-single six months ago with my good friend Joachim! It was written over two packs of cigarettes, and is about those fucking twenty-somethings, where no-one knows what they’re doing or should be doing (at least not me)”.
Lyrics:
There’s a battle in our youth
Cause we never—settle for nothing
But if we let you know the truth
We would—settle for somethin
Could you lend me lend me a map
Cause we need directions
There’s a point in getting lost and we prefer it like that
Everyday I’m wondering – but I don’t really get that no
It’s not really comforting – we just take it as we go
I might, I might, I might play it nice this time
And I might, and I might, I might say it twice this time
I’m losing you
I’m losing you
I might, and I might, I might play it nice
I remember the time
We were out until morning
But I remember the grime
on the surface of what was important
Could you lend me a hand
I’m still falling
While we keep on growing up
we also growing apart
Everyday I’m wondering – but I don’t really get that no
It’s not really comforting – we just take it as we go
I might, I might, I might play it nice this time
And I might, and I might, I might say it twice this time
I’m losing you
I’m losing you
I might, and I might, I might play it nice
I’m still real – you forgot
I’m still here – but you’re not
From Japan to Milan – understand – I will never see you
I’m still real – you forgot
I’m still here – but you’re not
From Japan to Milan – understand – I will never see you
I might, I might, I might play it nice this time
And I might, and I might, I might say it twice this time
I’m losing you
I’m losing you
I might, and I might, I might play it nice
I’m still real – you forgot
I’m still here – but you’re not
I’m losing you
I’m losing you
I’m still real – you forgot
I’m still here – but you’re not
I’m losing you
I’m losing you
I might I might
I might play it nice
