Sarah Kelly, known by her stage name Tigerwing, is a Calgary/Windsor artist gothy electronic pop artist.
She has just released the music video for her new single “Need me bad” using video software called Maya.
The clip, produced by Kelly herself, showcases singer’s skills as both an art rock experimentalist and a visual artist. She sings in a digitally created planet painted with pinks and blues. Water vibrates, stones rise and pyramids float in time with layers of synths working themselves into a steady simmer.
“I began working with 3D rendered animations because I was never happy or inspired by places around me enough to shoot a video in a space and trust it will communicate exactly what I want,” Tigerwing tells Exclaim! “With this new media, my visuals can match my sound and my concepts more than ever before.”
