Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo has released the video for her new single “Cool girl”.
The track was inspired by Gillian Flynn’s novel “Gone girl” which is about an insanely crazy, murderous girlfriend.
The clip, directed by Tim Erem (Rihanna, Drake, Katy Perry), sees the singer singing/dancing on a car.
Also during the video there are clips of the short film music video “Fairy dust chapter 1”, which will accompany her upcoming album “Lady wood”. It set to be officially released on Oct. 28 via Island Records.
Tove Lo describes the album: “There’s definitely a different sound to it — we’ve gone a little bit more dark techno vibe with it, some of it. You know, blended with pop”.
