Train recruited Grammy-nominated country star Cam and former Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy for their new single “Call me sir”.
Written by Pat Monahan himself with William Wiik Larsen, the song is based off a true story about a guy who can’t get anyone to notice him until he meets the right woman.
It’s not the first collaboration for Train. “Drops of Jupiter” hitmakers previously teamed up with other country stars such as Martina McBride and Ashley Monroe for the song “Bruises” off of Train’s album “California 37”.
“Call me sir” will be part of an upcoming Train greatest hits album due out in late summer or early fall.
Last year, Pat & co. released their 10th studio album “A girl, a bottle, a boat” which debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart spawning the hit singles “Play that song” and “Drink up”.
