Poland’s official Eurovision 2019 entry is a folk-rock song about love, fire and hope.
The track, titled “Fire of love (Pali się)”, is performed by Tulia, a Polish girl band formed in 2017.
The group consist of four singers: Joanna Sinkiewicz, Dominika Siepka, Patrycja Nowicka and Tulia Biczak. Their musical style combines classic folk with modern music.
Tulia gained media attention in Poland in 2017 after sharing a cover of Depeche Mode’s timeless hit “Enjoy the silence” on YouTube.
Last year, they released their first studio album, which both featured original compositions and covers of songs.
The album went platinum selling more 30000 copies from the date of release.
Not content with this result, the girls won three awards at the oldest and most important Polish Song Festival in Opole.
