During the last episode of The Voice Australian, twin-sisters pop duo The Veronicas debuted the music video for their new single “In my blood”.
Written by The Veronicas along with Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci, the track was produced by the Australian duo DNA (Ricky Martin, Delta Goodrem, Samantha Jade).
The single’s accompanying music video sees the pair, otherwise known as identical twins Lisa and Jess Origliasso, having their way with a red living room set, knocking over a shelf, smashing glassware, and hacking away at a TV set with a sledgehammer.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track Jessica described it as, “… that elated, euphoric feeling of love at first sight… I was going through something at the time I wanted to capture. Love and adrenaline are rushing through your blood. It’s like a chemical injection. You’ve instantly connected with someone. You’re knocked out by this person.”
“In my blood” will be contained in The Veronicas’ fourth studio album, which is due for release later in 2016.
