Craig David delivered a brilliant performance of his new single “Heartline” this week on BBC 1’s Radio 1 Live Lounge.
The song, written by Craig himself with Jonas Blue & RØMANS, is a bouncy pop track taken from his upcoming album “The time is now”, which will be released in January 2018 and features collaborations with the likes of Bastille, JP Cooper, Kaytranada, Ella Mai and AJ Cooper.
About the new record, R&B star said: “This is authentic me, doing what I love, just like I did when I was an unknown artist – that kid from Southampton making mixtapes in his bedroom and taking risks”.
After performing “Heartline”, Craig also mashes up DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller’s “Wild thoughts” and Stardust’s “Music sounds better with you,” as well as performing older track “7 days”.
