Pop sisters Kylie and Dannii Minogue have performed their first live duet on TV for 30 years in Australia’s X Factor final.
The pair performed “100 degrees” which is from Kylie’s new Christmas album.
Afterwards, Kylie said: “We have been very excited and a bit nervous because it was a very special moment for us. It was amazing, thanks for the opportunity. The thing I love about Christmas is family and our mum and dad are in the audience tonight.”
It was the first time the pair have sang together on television since 1986 on a show called “Young talent time” when they performed “Sisters (are doing it for themselves)”.
Announcing the news in a statement, Kylie said earlier this month: “I’ll be bringing a little Christmas cheer to The X Factor stage.“I can’t wait to come home and perform on the show with Dannii.”
“100 degrees” was written by Kylie about getting used to a cold Christmas in the winter in the UK after being raised in Australia. It was inspired by Donna Summer’s vintage disco classics.
