While we wait for “Joanne” release, Lady Gaga has partnered with Bud Light for a special Dive Bar Tour.
During the first stop of her 3-date Dive Bar Tour, Lady Gaga debuted “Million reasons”, a new song off her forthcoming album “Joanne”.
The track, co-written with Mark Ronson, Hilary Lindsey, is a brilliant country-rock track.
“Million Reasons is a country song mixed with funk and rock ‘n’ roll” said Gaga about the song. “You would never imagine it would sound that way… the feeling underneath the record is it’s almost got like a little bit of a hip-hop feeling. But at the same time, it’s not a hip-hop song. It’s kind of like I just had no boundaries making music — and neither do any of the other people we were working with. It was kind of like what feels right, what hits the best, what’s going to get everybody in their stomach and their heart”.
In addition to “Million Reasons,” Gaga performed three more cuts from her upcoming fifth studio LP: “A-yo,” “Sinner’s prayer,” and the lead single “Perfect illusion.”
The next scheduled Dive Bar stops are set for for Oct. 20 and Oct. 27.
