Belarus chose Zena to represent them at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Like it”.
Zinaida Alexandrovna Kupriyanovich, who goes by the stage name Zena, was born in Minsk in 2002 making her one of the youngest artists at Eurovision this year.
The talented singer, actress and television presenter started her music career at eleven when she competed in New Wave Junior 2013 and 2014 Junior Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk.
In 2017, Zena participated in Novaya Fabrika zvyozd, the Russian edition of Star Academy.
As an actress, she has voiced the Russian language version of Disney’s “Moana” back in 2016.
Co-written with Yulia Kireeva and Viktor Drobysh, “Like it” follows the singles “Mir” and “Cosmos”.
It’s a fresh, catchy pop track with huge potential. Can this song win the Eurovision Song Contest 2019?
